Modern Railway Modelling is THE quarterly magazine dedicated to UK-outline
and overseas coverage of D&E modelling.
Modern Railway Modelling is written and presented by railway modelling enthusiasts and aims to encourage D&E modelling in all scales by providing inspiration, advice and techniques needed to build model railways - for the expert and beginner alike. The emphasis is on practical 'hands-on' modelling features covering subjects as diverse as technology, DCC, kit building, creating scenery, building structures and painting - sometimes controversial, never predictable and with sufficient pages in each issue ensuring that coverage goes far beyond traditional articles on locomotive detailing and headline reviews. International coverage provides cross-fertilisation of techniques and ideas, enriching the hobby further by encompassing the differences in approach towards the hobby from around the world.
